That thoughful night?
On the other day I am going my room from my friends room by auto. In the midway the auto was stopped at a signal. I was thinking about my exam and looking around, the traffick was very huge. I was observing a young lady holding her baby of around 6-8 months old was begging. The baby was sleeping even in that crowd. I thought may be he was habituated to it. I don’t know why but at that point I remembered the amartya sen’s capability approach. It says that everyone who born on the soil of the country should be provided with equal opportunities irrespective of their economic, social background. It might be the fate of that boy who was born to that lady that’s why he was sleeping in that dusty road. I became more of philosophical and thinking what might be the causes for that situation, weather it is the fate of the boy, the fate off the old lady, the capitalistic economic policy, the poor economic status of our country, the over grown population or the political masters who did not pay enough attention to the problems of the people. What might be the reason. I am observing that baby who was sleeping quit without paying attention to the crowd and the sounds around him, the red signal got turned to green and all of a sudden, the vehicles were started, the baby gave a jerk in sleep to these sounds. I got goosebumps, my heart suddenly down to two to three centimeters down.
That picture, I never saw in my life before may be I haven’t paid enough attention to it. That night throughout my ride and in that sleep I remembered that picture couple of times. that made me to think and remember the people from my childhood whom I have seen as the unprivileged persons. They are the beggars, street children, the poor rickshaw pullers and their everyday problems. I became more emphatatic and asking myself what if I was in that condition, what if I loose everything I have that is money, friends, my parents etc. It was a scary situation. I have food to eat, room to stay, cloths to cover my body. But those people eat if they have offered by someone or else sleep with empty stomach, stays along the road sides in tents covered by the left over plastic bags, covers etc. They cover their body with whatever available to them. Be it waste cotton clothes donated by someone or may be naked. Then I was remember that in delhi, the winter nights are furious . The mercury level often dip into less that 5 degree Celsius. That time how these people survive. They need good amount of food to build enough fat in their body, they need number of cloths to cover their body to encounter the cold Sheetal winds and in order to keep all these things they need a shelter. where were they living, what they are eating and how their lives are, my thoughts were roaming and I am remembering the pictures in my sleep the old mens, the ladies who wear torned cloths, beggers who were naked, small children and my thoughts continued and in the midway I slept.

Hi Mr. Siva Gopal Reddy, by read this story I too think over it why this type of condition is happened to them. Really some people are far beyond the life style of a common man who require minimum basic things to lead life. But I found an article in news paper about 2years back and became shocked ' some of the mothers are hiring their children to beggers for earning money'.I came to know that the street beggers are giving sleeping fills to the innocent lappys during bottle feeding. Some beggers are giving mild dose analgesics to sleep them. "how can we expect better future India". Next day I read another article on the same news paper n realised that it is a business run by some people who are big shots in name n fame n earning money by such a cheap work. The network of begging is rooted throughout country. I am thinking that your experience is part of from this begging network or certainly may not be too. So, as your are the uplifting builder of the constructive India, hoping you will definitely find a constructive solution to your experience.I am very much excited by watching your motivational n viewfull explanation about your journey to crack the Civils.
