Doubts regarding UPSC interview

Dear friends,  Many of you have doubts regarding UPSC interview. In this article I will clear some of those doubts. Most of you have a common doubt that is,can somebody give their UPSC interview in regional languages like telugu, hindi, tamil etc. Answer to this question is absolutely YES. After you clear the mains exam, you have to fill detailed application form-2 (DAF-2). In this you have to opt your language preference for interview, there you can choose your mother tongue for your interview. Though you may opt regional language for your interview but you can also give interview in English. Actually what happens is that when you enter the interview room the chairman will formally ask whether you want a translator or not. If you are not confident in giving interview in English you can ask for translator. the translator sit besides you and translates the things in English. Otherwise you can give your interview in English only.

Making agriculture viable in kadapa district ----01

The other day when I was discussing with my father about the state of agriculture and the problem faced by him as a farmer, he told me some of the challenge. the major problem i have understood broadly include following i) Irregular monsoon and lack of availability of water in our region(i.e,, Rayalaseema region). The situation is so bad that in some areas people have dig bore wells up-to 400-450 feet to get water and the situation is worse in summer. ii) Increase in cost of investment. Cost of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, manual labor and machinery cost at the time of harvest. iii) Lack of storage facilities that is cold storage and warehouses.Because of this people are selling the produce to middle men on the spot of harvest or selling the produce at the distress rate. iv)lack of proper connectivity to big markets. In case of our region the density of railway network is very less which reduce the scope of exporting the produce. Food packaging industry Rayalaseema region is...

That thoughful night?

On the other day I am going my room from my friends room by auto. In the midway the auto was stopped at a signal. I was thinking about my exam and looking around, the traffick was very huge. I was observing a young lady holding her baby of around 6-8 months old was begging. The baby was sleeping even in that crowd. I thought may be he was habituated to it. I don’t know why but at that point I remembered the amartya sen’s capability approach. It says that everyone who born on the soil of the country should be provided with equal opportunities irrespective of their economic, social background. It might be the fate of that boy who was born to that lady that’s why he was sleeping in that dusty road. I became more of philosophical and thinking what might be the causes for that situation, weather it is the fate of the boy, the fate off the old lady, the capitalistic economic policy, the poor economic status of our country, the over grown population or the political masters who did not pay...

What Makes a day complete

What makes a day complete? In the contemporary world of competition getting a deep sleep at night is one of the toughest tasks. From a boy who is preparing for iit-jee exam to an MD of a software company, everyone may face this problem. I am neither a phychologist nor a philosopher, but with my observation around the people I have derived the following conclusions. We can devide the people into three categories based on the time they take to go to deep sleep. The first one is those who get sleep instantly and go to relaxed state. These people may include a child who played hard enough to a farmer who has done lot of physical activities in his farm and took a delight meal prepared by his wife. The second ones are those who do not go to sleep until 2O clock and watch continuously in YouTube, amazon prime, Netflix etc. After 2 Am also they forcibly go to bed while speaking to his girlfriend, chatting with his friends in WhatsApp or the people who poured enough alcohol into his...
